“Also sprach Zarathustra (2001)” is an instrumental number by Brazilian musician Eumir Deodato, from his 1973 album Prelude. It is a jazz-influenced rendition of the introduction from the Richard Strauss composition Also sprach Zarathustra, most famous for its use in the 1968 film 2001: A Space Odyssey (hence the subtitle, “2001”).
