Here are the 20 most popular blog singles on New Music United this week with notes by the editor:

  • No less than eight new entries on the chart from Jack White, Marilyn Manson, Black Asteroid, SebastiAn, Leonard Cohen, Julien-K, Chromatics and Rufus Wainwright.
  • NMU darling And Also The Trees reenters the chart with their latest blog single. They are going on tour soon. Catch them if you can. They are brilliant.
  • Four tracks from the golden era in the seventies with great music from ABBA, Roxy Music, Pantherman and Nick Gilder! (You this chart is crazy).
  • Choir of Young Believers is the most popular Danish artist on NMU right now. Check them out. They are really something. (There is also a Mikael Simpson in here somewhere).
  • Personally, it makes me feel good that old friends David Sylvian, Paul Weller and Leonard Cohen can make the chart. They are suc great artists.
