The second song from Apples for Isaac, shared after the response to Brussels Is Haunted and track eight on the album: Will Sergeant’s guitar swirling round a beat built for big festival fields, and Ian McCulloch singing about days that run on habit and the light that is there all the same, if you look up.
Echo & the Bunnymen: Ian McCulloch, Will Sergeant; drums: Clem Burke, who plays on ten of the album’s eleven songs and died in April 2025 while it was being finished. Produced by Ian McCulloch, who mixed the record with Alan Moulder and Andrea Wright. From Apples for Isaac, BMG, September 18, 2026. Photograph: Frederick H. Evans, Height and Light in Bourges Cathedral, negative 1899, photogravure published in Camera Work, October 1903.
