Charlotte Gainsbourg plays Joe, a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac, in the upcoming Lars von Trier film, Nymphomaniac. Along with her, uhh, erotic acting skills, she’s contributed a song to the movie’s soundtrack, offering up a hyper-sensual cover of “Hey Joe”, the ’60s hit made popular by The Jimi Hendrix Experience. The track was produced by Beck, who previously worked with Gainsbourg on two of her albums, 2009′s IRM and and 2011′s Stage Whisper. [Source]
