We already know about Goldfrapp’s upcoming Tales of Us, and here’s the first tale Alison Goldfrapp and company have to tell: “Drew.” The track comes with a video, directed by Lisa Gunning, that’ll be part of a feature-length movie that will apparently be in theaters later this year around the time of the record’s September 10th release, so, basically, “Drew” functions as a dual teaser. It’s a lovely, lovelorn song, with Goldfrapp’s yearning, breathy vocals layered over delicate, moody strings and pianos. The video’s great too – watch as Alison wanders lonesomely around a soft-focus black-and-white villa, remembering a bunch of sexy, nude ghosts. [Source]
