It’s been a long road back, but the new Dave Sitek-produced single (which came out of nowhere) from Liam’s post-Oasis project Beady Eye showcases the younger Gallagher brother at his best since … Be Here Now? Maybe What’s The Story? Regardless of where you want to place this performance in the man’s portfolio, it’s a pleasure to hear his voice so crisp and clear. The song itself — with bold horns leading the way — feels confident and proud, not unlike the great Oasis non-album single “Whatever.” [Source]
