In the July 1976 Bicentennial issue of Playboy Scott-Heron was profiled; the accompanying artwork shows Scott-Heron singing or speaking into a microphone as it melts from the heat of his words. Another hit success followed with the hit single “Angel Dust”, which he recorded as a single with producer Malcolm Cecil. “Angel Dust” peaked at #15 on the R&B charts in 1978.
