Ten years have passed since Pearson disbanded Lift To Experience after just one album. This record is his debut solo album, and it shows that it has been five years in the making by its totally mesmerizing mash of both delicate and angry guitar sequences. There has been nothing rushed, with four of the tracks weighing in over ten minutes. It manages to retain an organic flow right through the core. I have neither the journalistic skills or compunction to convey the utter beauty and brutality of this record in its most pure, poetic form. If you hear a better song this year than ‘Honeymoon’s Great! Wish You Were Here’, please let me know. [Source]
