A bonus track on the Special Edition of The Boys of Dungeon Lane, out October 7 — two minutes and fifty-eight seconds of riff, bass and strut, with the whole mod wardrobe in the lyric: button-down collars, Italian suits and daisy roots. McCartney has worn the boots since 1961, when he and Lennon had Anello & Davide put a Cuban heel on a pair of Chelsea boots. The physical edition, on orange and blue marble vinyl, follows before Christmas.

Words and music by Paul McCartney. From the sessions for The Boys of Dungeon Lane, produced by Paul McCartney and Andrew Watt. Released by Capitol Records. Photograph: Boots, American or European, 1860s, leather. The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Gift of Lee Simonson, 1938.
