The first single from Sacrosanct, Simple Minds’ twentieth studio album, announced the same day for January 29, 2027 on BMG. A song about watching grandchildren grow up: can strength and tenderness, courage and gentleness live in the same boy, whatever the culture around him says? The band leave it as an open question. Track three of eight; the deluxe edition adds “Your Name in Lights”, first heard here in 2024.
