With the open-arm reception fans and critics alike have given Tame Impala’s excellent Lonerism, it’s no wonder other artists are eager to put their own spin on the album’s standout track “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards.” While we’ve seen our share of remixes and covers, Memory Tapes’ most recent take has certainly caught our attention. With the thoughtful addition of more dream-like synths and psychedelic guitar riffs, the new version is an interesting twist on the Lonerism favorite.
