This is a very special Top 20 Chart. Today is the first birthday of New Music United. More than 20,000 music fans. More than 2,000 blog singles. And weekly Top 20 charts every Friday at noon!

1. This week’s number one is the new monster single from Leonard Cohen, whose first blog single from the upcoming album is back on the chart as well.
2. The spoof recording of David Bowie & Elvis Presley together created such a buzz on their birthday that it brought the blog single to number two.
3. Two young girls as drugged out prostitutes in the infamous Bois de Boulogne forest storms into top 3 with a brand new electro track.
4. Amazingly, three of the recently posted Alan Vega tracks made it into top 20. Also, Depeche Mode composer and singer Martin Gore has three tracks on the chart. They share electropop music history together.
5. This week, more than half of the tracks are rediscovered tracks, not new releases.
6. Windbreaker is a new “NMU Darling”.
