The title track of The Great Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Empathy, the third album by Les Claypool and Sean Ono Lennon as The Claypool Lennon Delirium – fourteen songs and a comic book. Lennon calls it a cautionary tale of what may happen if we keep favoring machines over men: a technocracy, a young man left to unravel his father’s folly, and a sacred feathered goddess who holds the egg-shaped key to the future – sung here by WILLOW. Rich Ragsdale’s animated video is drawn from his own 24-page comic, which comes with the vinyl.

Produced by Les Claypool and Sean Ono Lennon. Les Claypool and Sean Ono Lennon: vocals and all instruments; WILLOW: vocals. Recorded at Rancho Relaxo, Sonoma County, and The Farm, New York; mixed by Les Claypool and Matt Winegar; mastered by Stephen Marcussen. Video directed by Rich Ragsdale after his comic, animation by Rob Yulfo. From The Great Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Empathy, ATO Records, May 1, 2026.
