Listen to the wonderful background vocals led by the great Luther Vandross. Who knew where his amazing career would end up going.
I played a gospel type piano style which was a good discipline for me as I normally play a lot more notes! I hadn’t heard this one since 1974. Wow. David is beyond stellar. What a voice. And David Sanborn on alto sax at the end. I think we all channeled Marvin Gaye. Maybe it was David’s trip to the Apollo Theater in Harlem!
