Here are the 20 most popular blog singles on New Music United this week with notes from the editor.

• It was Bill Laswell’s birthday last week. Also, Whitney Houston died. Together, they are number one.
• Bill Laswell produced an album for P.I.L.  in 1986. They return to the charts this week with a brand new recording.
• R. Stevie Moore is one of our heroes. Please support his music. On the blogs and on Kickstarter.
• Sid Vicious likes to pop in on the chart once in the while. This week he shares it with his old friend Johnny Rotten.
• I play the new Duran Duran tracks all the time but it is one of their all time favourite ballads on the chart at #17.

Have a great weekend. Thank you for listening to New Music United. Please leave comments and share blog links.
