As soon as they brought me to my potsuartpm room, they asked me to use the bathroom I had no problem peeing although it was a bit painful (and I was very embarrassed by the bleeding which is so normal) the water bottle isn’t necessarily to help you pee (although it can help), its to rinse down there to help keep it clean so no infection will happen The thing that scared me and freaked me out was the first bowel movement omg I sat in the bathroom in tears (a couple days later) it was a bit painful but was not nearly as bad as I had imagined. I know you didn’t ask about bowel movements but no one told me about that until after I had given birth and the dr mentioned it
