The first new music in seven years from Les Claypool and Sean Ono Lennon, and the first look at The Great Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Empathy – a double concept album about a machine intelligence that runs away with its orders, which followed on ATO on May 1. Five minutes of rubbery bass and Beatle-bright melody over the news of the day: scandal at the top, a life lived online, and the uneasy sense that history is starting to rhyme.

Words and music by Les Claypool and Sean Ono Lennon, who play everything and produced it themselves. Video illustrated by Rich Ragsdale, animated by Cage Claypool. Released by ATO Records.
