The Soft Moon – Insides (2012)

Following last year’s torrent of reconstituted post-punk and dark wave memories, Oakland internal wrangler Luis Vasquez is set to release his sophomore album as The Soft Moon. Where “Die Life,” the first single, seemed to strobe its way to oblivion, “Insides” is downtempo and hypnotic, like a lost Joy Division b-side played back over an old tape deck, a hair too slow. Zeros is slated for release via Captured Tracks on October 30th in North America and November 5th worldwide. [Source]
